This workshop provides a space for individuals to explore the nuances of diverse LGBTQ+ identities, delve into the historical context of LGBTQ+ rights movements, and gain insights into the challenges and triumphs faced by LGBTQ+ individuals. From understanding terminology and pronouns to navigating the complexities of intersectionality, participants will emerge with a foundational understanding of LGBTQ+ identities and experiences.

In Environmental Justice: Legacy and History, we’ll explore the key historical moments, policies, and resistance movements that laid the foundation for today’s environmental justice efforts. From early community-led organizing to present-day frontline activism, we’ll uncover how racism, classism, and systemic inequities are deeply intertwined with environmental degradation—and how that history still shapes access, policy, and public health outcomes.

Creating inclusive and lasting change means doing more than “outreach”—it means building collaborative relationships with the communities most impacted by the issues we’re trying to address. This highly interactive virtual workshop explores how to shift from transactional engagement to transformational community partnerships. Rooted in equity, trust-building, and co-creation, this session will help participants move beyond performative outreach efforts and toward models of engagement that center voice, agency, and sustainability. REPAIR AND DIALOGUE TOOLS FOR COMMUNITY AND INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP

Even the most well-intentioned teams encounter tension, misunderstanding, and harm. What sets inclusive leaders apart isn’t perfection—it’s the ability to navigate these challenges with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
Repair and Dialogue Tools for Community and  Inclusive Leadership is an interactive workshop that equips participants with practical frameworks for leading through conflict, facilitating brave conversations, and repairing harm in ways that foster trust and resilience. Drawing from restorative justice practices, this session is designed to help leaders at all levels create cultures where people feel seen, heard, and valued—even when things get hard.
This is not about having all the answers—it's about building the capacity to hold space for discomfort, growth, and repair.
